Newton's Law

How does Earth’s gravity field effect material at atom level. To get the right impression Newton’s Law and Earths average specific weight (constant density) are used.

With the atoms mass as m1 and r as the radius between earths center and the atom on earths surface.

Just like the force of gravity on Earth’s surface is depending on the radius , also is Earths mass related to its radius. For Earths mass we can assume:

This Implies that (with considering the Earths “average” density as a constant) with increasing diameter from the Earths center to its Surface. The relation between gravity and radius is linear.

For the small radius of an atom placed on Earth’s surface we now can find the difference in gravity.
